My name is Natalie Ugarte and I am currently a student at Florida International University. The Global Health Research Project at FIU is a fellowship that has been presented to me  to conduct a research project of my own,  of which i have so humbly accepted. At first, friends and family didn't quite grasp the fact on why I'd chose India as the country to center my project on however, this summer my goal is to create a platform with this  site to showcase how we all can learn of the areas of opportunities within India's healthcare system today.

          With proper funding from the Benjamin  Gilman Scholars,  I am elated to share that I will be traveling to Mysore India this summer to examine the physical and psychological issues of which I plan to share with you through this network.
