"Soulmate"

Odanadi which means "soulmate" - someone who walks with you hand in hand through life, is an organization in Mysore that commits to rehabilitate girls and boys whom were victims of human trafficking. It is also a place to help restore the dignity of women who were victims of exploitation. (Odanadi does not use the term "prostitution").

My fellows and I had a great opportunity today to visit this site whom combats this crisis.

The organization does a tremendous job in giving the therapy these victims need to help them get back into society. Odanadi has helped rescue over 13,000 girls and shelters 80 victims at a time. We met the founder of this non- profit and he gave us the opportunity to spend some time with the children who are centered at the shelter. They showed us some of the art work done by the students that is part of their recreational therapy they conduct. I took pictures only of the facility to respect the privacy of the victims and to share with all of you what this remarkable organization looks like.
